Chris Wienk

Monday-Friday 3-9pm

Chris hosts an afternoon and evening filled with music, occasional live performance and interviews, and more. His show kicks off with DMB@3 (a Dave Matthews track every day at 3pm), and it is punctuated by the Meeting With the Boss (4pm), Dylan at Dusk (530pm), and the drive home mix.  Stay with Chris until 9pm with frequent visits from Local 518 and national touring artists in special Live @ EXT sessions.

Matt Flinner
Artist

Matt Flinner brings his trio to the area for shows at Wolf Hollow Brewing (2/8) and the Cock N Bull Restaurant (2/9).

Ahead of that, Chris Wienk talked with Matt all about music, how Matt first got going with the mandolin, and where his band falls in the spectrum of music styles.

Luminous Crush
WEXT

Laura Molinelli and Ben Campbell stopped by to play a few songs from the new album by Luminous Crush called "Lumina," and a couple songs from the forthcoming recording The Bondville Boys will be doing (both are members of both bands).

Have a listen to the session here.

Marty Wendell with Chris Wienk
WEXT

Marty Wendell's new album is "A Real Good Run."  He came by to visit and played a few songs from the album, and he chatted with our own Chris Wienk about the time he got to play Johnny Cash one of his songs. Marty went on to open the "Live at Fulsom Prison" concert tour.  Hear some great music and stories from Marty's 52 years in the music business.

Circus: YOL
Marquise Productions

Marquise Productions presents a new Circus Tour: YOL

YOL, which means “road” or “way” in Turkish, tells the story of one girl on a mystical journey, exploring a path formed by her own curiosity and imagination. Interacting with the supernatural and mysterious aspects of her own mind, she undergoes her own evolution as both storyteller and observer. A story told through a mix between a new form of circus and theatre, YOL explores what our beliefs say about us and the possibility of returning to a childlike wonder about the world around us.
