Caitlin Canty made a tour stop at Caffe Lena on June 1st. She stopped by to play a few songs, including a new - as yet unreleased - track that will hopefully be on the new album coming in 2018.
VT singer-songwriter, Caitlin Canty lives in Nashville these days. We talk Nashville, music, House of Cards, and more. Plus, Caitlin plays a few songs, including a previously unreleased song that may appear on her new album in 2018.
Syracuse native, and a veteran of playing the streets of Boston, Martin Sexton dropped by and talked a little about his experiences being on the ground with his transient, commuter audiences. And he sang songs and talk about his album "Mixtape of the Open Road."
Local 518 group The 317 (Three Seventeen) dropped by to play songs and promote a special show at The Hangar, a tribute to the musician, poet, politician and patriot - the late, great Bobby Sands who lost his life while on a hunger strike in prison in 1981.
For more information on the concert that will feature other Local 518 luminaries such as Kevin McKrell, Brian McCann, Mikki Bakken, The Good Things Band, and Battenkill, go to The Hangar's Facebook page.
