More WEXT music hours was our goal.
On Friday, February 1st, we made some changes to our programming. The idea was to increase local programming, make more hours where at least one Local 518 song would be played. The changes result in 17 more local hours each week!
The biggest and most prominent changes: Dave Michaels starts at 5a instead of 6a. KTG stays on until 11p nightly.
Our specialty programs on weeknights are as follows: Mon 11p My Exit, Tue 11p Putumayo Music Hour, Wed 11p Grateful Dead Hour, Thur 11p Local 518, and Fri 11p CRUMBS.
Saturday changes: Acoustic Sunrise 5-8a, My Exit 8a, Local 518 6p, Rock N Soul 7p.
Sunday changes: Hello Pretty City 8a, Joyce 10a-3p, Wayne 3-8p, Hello Pretty City 8p, Connections 10p, North of the Border 11p.
Echoes will air 12-3a every night, and til 5a on Sunday morning. Our overnight airings of World Cafe will air Mon-Sat 3am; World Cafe remains at 10a-12n Mon-Sat.
